Civil Liability of Motor Vehicle Holders
Any holder of a motor vehicle registered in a country other than the EEA countries
and Switzerland is obliged, on entering any of the above-mentioned countries without a valid Green Card certificate, to conclude,
prior to the crossing of the frontier, a contract of insurance against civil liability of motor insurance holders - a so-called frontier insurance.

The Green Card is an International Certificate of Insurance which is proof of its holder's being covered by insurance against civil liability of motor vehicle
holders in accordance with the insurance law in force in the country visited by its holder and belonging to the Green Card System.
