The Green Card is an International Certificate of Insurance which is proof of its holder's being covered by insurance against civil liability of motor vehicle
holders in accordance with the insurance law in force in the country visited by its holder and belonging to the Green Card System.
It is recognized by the appropriate authorities of those states as valid without any additional formalities and charges.
The Green Card certificate is issued for a minimum period of 15 days.
