Accidents outside victim's residence country
In case an accident happened abroad, compensation procedures are dependent on the country in which the event occurred, and on the countries in which the participanting vehicles were registered.
It is important to note down the registration number and the make of the offenders' vehicle, and to obtain the TPL insurance details immediately after the accident.
In some cases establishing the offenders' insurer after return to home country is difficult or even impossible, although the accurate data of driver and offending vehicle are known.
